Bringing Selborne Together

Since 1985, the residents of Selborne have participated in the annual Selborne Progressive Supper – an evening which brings people together for a three course, roaming dinner party, hosted in the homes of Selborne residents. It’s a great way to get to know people around the village or meet up with old friends.

Village Gathering

It is for everyone.

This communal event aims to be accessible and inclusive for everyone who lives in and close to Selborne. Everyone is welcome, houses big and small, residents young-ish (adults only please) and old. Can’t cook - pre-made dishes. Dining table small - how about deckchairs in the garden? Its about fun and friendly neighbourliness, its not a competition.

If you would like to attend but are unsure whether you’re able to travel between locations due to your personal mobility requirements or location of your own home, please contact us at the email address below so we can plan your locations to help you manage.

Similarly, whilst people often attend in pairs its absolutely fine to attend solo – the organisers can pair you with a partner for the evening.

Donations of prizes for the raffle are also gratefully accepted – please email the organisers who can collect from you, or drop off to Heather Cottage, Priory Lane.
